Nick French is a superman of a realtor! We have had the pleasure of working with him on both a purchase and sale of real estate.

For our home purchase, he worked with us tirelessly for nearly a year to choose just the right home for us. We undoubtedly looked at over 200 homes – WITH HIM, and Nick never made us feel like we were being difficult to work with. He is also a contractor, so he is able to advise on some of the challenges that a property may present, as well as articulate the possible costs associated with remediating the challenges.

Nick was also creative in helping us to afford the home we wanted. With his guidance, and through his connections within the real estate industry we were able to capitalize on the equity in our townhome through an off-market sale to gain the cash to afford more home than we had initially thought. This ended up being a real advantage for us – and helped us realize our perfect home.

Gifted on the business side of real estate, Nick is also incredibly patient with and observant of his clients. His ability to observe what we liked and disliked and match that to the potential in a property impressed us on numerous occasions. Unwavering in his desire to find the perfect home for his clients, he helped us successfully buy our first home together in the highly competitive Willow Glen area of San Jose.

I was particularly impressed when we were signing the papers for our home, on a Saturday morning, that he arrived, and was able to explain every single document that required signatures – he knew the purpose and the math behind everything. It was so reassuring to have that kind of expertise and knowledge on our side.

Our new home needed repairs and some customizing before we moved in. Nick was right there with us – taking care of things while we were out of town, recommending excellent trades people and helping us to manage the very tight schedule and budget. I don’t think we could have met our aggressive timeline without Nick’s help.

Two years before we were ready to sell our Sunnyvale condo, Nick was there to work with us on updating it for the best value for our money. He made sure we spent an appropriate amount (less than we thought would be necessary) to get the most out of our investment. Fast forward two years, when we were ready to sell, the condo, Nick expertly walked us through the advantages and disadvantages of selling it off-market. We decided that selling off-market would be best for our situation. Nick handled everything. He found us several potential buyers, coordinated multiple busy schedules for showing the condo, as well as all the inspections and details required of a seller. In addition to getting us a great price for our condo, he also negotiated a rent-back that gave us enough time to find, purchase and remodel a new property.

We can’t recommend Nick French highly enough. If you are looking for a real estate professional who is knowledgeable, honest and truly willing to “go the extra mile” for his clients, you can’t do better than Nick. We also would be remiss not to mention that Nick’s an all-around great guy – he is fun to be around, responsive and articulate.
